Usher, who is known for tracks like 'OMG', 'Love In This Club', and 'Yeah', will be performing at the half-time show of 2024 Super Bowl. The announcement was made by Apple Music, the NFL and Roc Nation on Sunday, as reported by Variety. The 2024 Super Bowl will be taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024. For the unversed, this year, Rihanna had performed at the half-time show while the 2022 Super Bowl Show featured Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent.

“Usher is an icon whose music has left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape throughout his career, we couldn’t be more excited to have him headline this year’s Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show,” said Seth Dudowsky, NFL Head of Music, as per Variety. 

“We look forward to working with Usher, Roc Nation and Apple Music to bring fans another Halftime Show for the history books," he said further. 

Talking about the same, Jay-Z said, "Usher is the ultimate artist and showman. Ever since his debut at the age of 15, he’s been charting his own unique course. Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul."

“His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic," he added.

Talking about Usher, he is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. He had released his self-titled debut album 'Usher' (1994), however, it was his second album 'My Way' in 1997, which gave him fame. 

Usher has sold 23.8 million albums and 38.2 million digital songs in the United States and he is also referred to as 'King of R&B' by various media outlets.
