Here’s a list that no one wants to be on! No matter how good-looking, charming, rich or famous you are, turns out no one is immune to being cheated on. In fact, some of the most popular women in the world haven't just endured infidelity from their partners while expecting, they've done it under the scrutiny of the limelight.
The most important part of any relationship is the trust factor. When a couple is expecting a baby together, it is crucial that the environment is stress-free and relaxed, which may not have been the case when it came to these celebrity to-be mothers.
While they were pregnant, these celebrities didn't stay faithful. We're taking a look at the stars who cheated on their pregnant spouses, starting with ‘Maroon 5’ frontman Adam Levine.
1. Adam Levine: Singer-songwriter Adam Levine was accused of cheating on his pregnant wife and model Behati Prinsloo, with a 23-year-old Instagram model and influencer named Sumner Stroh. The influencer made a TikTok video claiming that she had a year-long affair with the ‘Maroon 5’ frontman.
Levine released a statement on his Instagram Story following Stroh’s allegations. He said, “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate.”
While Levine maintains he didn’t cheat on Prinsloo with Stroh, five other women have come forward with claims of inappropriate behaviour from Levine.
2. Offset: Rapper Offset was first caught cheating on rapper Cardi B in 2018 when a sex tape of him and another woman leaked. Cardi filed for divorce, but later called off the divorce and forgave Offset after he did everything in his power to win Cardi B’s trust back. Their relationship has been hit with many other cheating allegations as well.
3. Justin Timberlake: Actor and singer Justin Timberlake made headlines in 2019 but not for the right reasons! The ‘Friends With Benefits’ star was in the middle of cheating allegations after photos of him holding hands with his ‘Palmer’ co-star Alisha Wainwright surfaced, and shortly afterwards, he made a public apology. At the time of the cheating scandal, his wife and actor Jessica Biel was expecting their second child.
4. Tristan Thompson: NBA star Tristan Thompson cheated on his partner and reality TV star Khloe Kardashian several times during their relationship. While the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star was pregnant, Tristan Thompson was involved with several other women. Recently, just when it seemed like the duo was on good terms, the NBA star admitted to cheating on Khloe with trainer Maralee Nichols, with whom he fathered a son in December 2021.
5. Kevin Hart: Comedian and actor Kevin Hart got involved in a cheating scandal in October 2017 when his wife Eniko Parrish was then 8 months pregnant. At first, he posted on his Instagram informing fans of an alleged extortion attempt using a “sexually provocative” video of him with another woman.
However, he later opened up about the incident, apologising to Parrish and taking full responsibility and calling it a “massive mistake.”
6. Arnold Schwarzenegger: Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was accused of cheating on his ex-wife Maria Shriver. The two met in 1977 and tied the knot nearly 9 years later in a grand ceremony. Maria remained a supportive partner to Schwarzenegger as he transitioned from his acting stint to his political career.
However, their relationship suffered a serious blow after it was revealed that Arnold had an affair with their housekeeper Mildred Baena. Arnold's affair with Mildred led to the birth of their son Joseph in October 1997. Joesph's birth came a few days after Maria gave birth to her and Arnold's son Christopher.
Schwarzenegger apologised to Shriver several times but in May 2011, the couple announced that they were divorcing after 25 years together.
7. Eddie Murphy: Actor-comedian Eddie Murphy and singer Mel B were dating until they broke up in 2006. It is believed that Mel B was five months pregnant with his child when he decided to leave her for Tracey Edmonds. The most heartbreaking part in their relationship came when the actor firmly denied that he was the father of Mel B’s daughter until the paternity test confirmed that he was, indeed, the father.
