Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are often in the news, whether it is for the right or wrong reasons, it is upto the readers to decide. Once again, the power couple are making headlines and it is through Prince Harry’s highly anticipated autobiography 'Spare'. In his book, Harry has opened up on an alleged physical attack by his brother William, who is now the Prince Of Wales. Harry said that the confrontation happened at the London home in 2019, reported The Guardian.
He also said that his brother William called his wife Meghan Markle “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”.
While talking about the confrontation with William, Harry said: "“grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor."
In his autobiography, Harry claims that once William started complaining about Meghan, he told him that he (William) was repeating the narrative set by the press and he (Harry) expected better, reported the Guardian.
Then, Harry says insults were exchanged between the two, before William claimed that he was just trying to help.
However, once Harry said that this is not any kind of help, William allegedly got angry and then he swore while stepping towards him.
"He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out," Harry has written in the book.
Harry then said that once he told his entire incident to his wife Meghan, she "wasn't that surprised" and "wasn't all that angry".
Earlier, Harry and Meghan had come up with a new documentary titled 'Harry and Meghan' on Netflix.
This was the first time since the interview with Oprah Winfrey that Harry and Meghan spoke about the negative press attention they received.
In January 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had stepped down as the senior members of the Royal Family.
