Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have parted ways after six years together, according to numerous reports.

It’s over for Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, if reports are to be believed. The duo has split after six years of being together. People Magazine confirmed the news, citing a source close to Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn. The media outlet also confirmed that their separation was “amicable” and not “dramatic”. The breakup news comes as Taylor Swift is travelling for her sold-out Eras tour, at which Joe Alwyn hasn't been spotted. Numerous celebrities including Emma Stone and Selena Gomez have appeared at Taylor’s show but not Joe Alwyn.

However, Taylor Swift dedicated many of her songs to their romance on the ongoing tour. Over these years Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn kept their relationship private and now also they have not spoken about the breakup.

Fans of the couple have flooded Twitter after the news of their separation, with many hoping that it’s “fake news”.

Here are some reactions to their break up news:

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, who were first spotted out together in late 2016, have worked hard to keep their romance private over the years. Instead of discussing their relationship in interviews or hitting red carpets together, much of what fans know has come from Taylor Swift's music—including their collaborations on her 2020 album ‘Folklore’ and its sister album ‘Evermore’.

Despite not wanting to discuss their relationship, they duo had no problem showing their support for each other over the years. They supported each other through their project promotions.

Amid their busy schedules, Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn found time to enjoy cozy nights out together, specifically in London.

Many of Taylor Swift's 2017 album ‘Reputation's’ love songs — ‘Gorgeous’, ‘Call It What You Want’ and ‘Delicate’ appeared to be inspired by Joe Alwyn and the couple's low-key relationship.

Taylor Swift has previously been linked with Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hiddleston, Taylor Lautner and more.
