Margot Robbie Reveals How She Came Up With Unscripted Kiss With Brad Pitt For 'Babylon'
Margot Robbie has opened up on how she orchestrated her unscripted kiss with Brad Pitt for 'Babylon'.
Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie will share the screen for 'Babylon' and the movie will hit the theatres on December 23 this year. The movie is being helmed by Damien Chazelle and will tell the story of the rise and fall of multiple characters during Hollywood's transition from silent to sound films in the late 1920s. Ahead of the movie, Margot Robbie revealed that her kiss with Brad Pitt for the movie was actually improvised and it was not there in the script.
"That wasn't in the script, but I thought, when else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I'm just gonna go for it," Robbie told E! News.
"I said, 'Damien, I think Nellie would just go up and kiss Jack'. And Damien was like, 'Well, she could—wait, hold on. You just wanna kiss Brad Pitt.' And I was like, 'Oh, so sue me. This opportunity might never come up again.' And he was like, 'It does work for the character,' and I was like, I think so," she stated further.
In the movie 'Babylon', Margot Robbie will play the role of actress Nellie, who is looking to make her dreams come true.
"I actually kissed Katherine Waterston, as well, but I don't know if that made the cut," said Robbie.
Ever since the trailer of 'Babylon' dropped, the fans have been comparing it to movies like 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' and 'The Great Gatsby'.
Robbie is quite a famous actress and she has received two Oscars nominations as well -- Best Actress for I, Tonya (2018) and Best Supporting Actress for Bombshell (2019).
