Earlier, Lauren Gottlieb had announced on Instagram that she would be performing on 'Naatu Naatu' at Oscars 2023.

‘Naatu Naatu’, composed by MM Keeravani and sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, is competing against the likes of ‘Applause’ from ‘Tell It Like a Woman’, ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘Lift Me Up’ from ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ and ‘This Is a Life’ from ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ in the Best Original Song Category.

It’s almost been a year since SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ released in theatres and it has been unstoppable since then.

Besides Ram Charan and Jr NTR, ‘RRR’ also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Rahul Ramakrishna, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.

The 95th Academy Awards are being held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the mega awards night and this is his third time, hosting the event, after the 89th and 90th editions of the ceremony which were held in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

The nominations for Oscars 2023 were announced on January 24 by actors Riz Amed and Allison Williams.

Both 'Avatar: The Way Of Water' and 'Top Gun: Maverick' secured nominations in the Best Picture category, and hence this marked the first time that two sequels will be featuring in one ceremony.

'All Quiet on the Western Front' secured nine nominations for this year's Oscars. Michelle Yeoh, the star of 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' became the first Asian to pick up a nomination in the Best Actress category.
