Toni Collette, Dave Galafassi Split After Steamy Pictures of Him With Another Woman Surface
Toni Collette announced her divorce from husband Dave Galafassi, shortly after photos of him kissing another woman surfaced online.
Toni Collette and her husband Dave Galafassi are parting ways after almost 20 years of marriage. The actress took to Instagram to announce that she and the 44-year-old drummer have called it quits. Toni Collette, who shares two kids with Dave Galafassi, posted a statement on behalf of both her and her estranged husband to announce their divorce. Along with a picture that read “Peace and Love”, Toni Collette began her post writing, “It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing.”
The estranged couple added that their children, 14-year-old daughter Sage Florence and 11-year-old son Arlo Robert, are their priorities.
“We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other. Our kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape,” the post further read.
“We’re thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully. Big thanks. Toni Collette and David Galafassi,” the post concluded.
Before the announcement of their divorce, Collette shared a quote on her Instagram Story that read, "No matter what your current circumstances are, if you can imagine something better for yourself, you can create it."
As per People Magazine, the news of their divorce comes shortly after photos of Dave Galafassi and another woman kissing at a beach in Sydney, Australia, surfaced.
The Daily Mail published the photos that showed Dave Galafassi and the woman sitting together and sharing kisses.
Toni Collette and Dave Galfassi tied the knot in a Buddhist ceremony in 2003. They welcomed Sage in January of 2008 and Arlo Robert was born in April 2011.
