The controversy surrounding YouTubers Elvish Yadav and Sagar Thakur, aka Maxtern is not ending anytime soon. Recently, a viral video showed 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav thrashing Sagar Thakur. The Gurugram Police has already booked Elvish for allegedly assaulting Sagar Thakur, who in his complaint claimed that the YouTuber tried to "break his spine". In the latest entertainment news, Elvish Yadav has given his version of the story, saying the entire incident was pre-planned by Sagar with hidden cameras and mikes.
In his clarification video posted on X, Elvish Yadav said, "I want all of you to know the other side of the story. Please watch this video until the end, so that those playing the victim card can also see. Open his X account, and see his YouTube channel. From the time I went to Bigg Boss, you will see his tweets against me, poking me. For the past eight months, he has been poking me. He does this to gain followers, and it was then that I started to interact with him."
"I told him that he should know that he is in Delhi. So then I wanted to talk to him over call, but he wanted to meet me. Then I sent him my address and he went ahead and shared all the chats online. After that, I sent the address of my home, and there is a recording where I said I won't hit you there because you are my guest there," he added.

Elvish Yadav then claimed that Sagar Thakur threatened his family, and this is when he lost his cool.
"He said, ‘Tujhe aur tere ghar waalon ko zinda jala dunga'. In the heat of the moment, I used some abusive words. I decided that I would come. It was his friend's shop, where he had a complete set-up with the camera. It was pre-planned. He even had a mike at his chest when he was hit in the video. It was planned from before," said Elvish Yadav.
Elvish Yadav then also addressed his followers, and he asked them what they would do if someone threatened their family.
For the unversed, the Gurugram Police has registered cases against Elvish Yadav under sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC, as reported by Hindustan Times.
For the unversed, the entire matter between Elvish Yadav and Sagar Thakur escalated after the latter commented on the 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner meeting Munawar Faruqui during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL).
This eventually led to Elvish Yadav assaulting Sagar. In the now-viral video, Elvish Yadav was seen approaching Thakur with his aides. He then started to beat up the YouTuber relentlessly at a garments shop.
For the unversed, Elvish Yadav is not new to controversies. He is currently in legal trouble over the snake venom rave party case.
