Noida Police has said that five people have been arrested for supplying snakes and venom for rave parties.

Noida Police has said that five people have been arrested for supplying snakes and venom for rave parties that were allegedly organised by 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav. As per NDTV, the five arrested men have told the police that these parties were organised at various farm houses in Delhi, and they even said that Elvish Yadav used to shoot videos with snakes for YouTube.

It is being alleged that the snake venom was taken by people at the rave parties that also hosted some foreigners, reported NDTV.

"Five of the six accused have been taken into custody, but Elvish Yadav has not been arrested yet," officials said.

The FIR has named six people, including Elvish Yadav. As per NDTV, nine snakes, including five cobras, and snake venom have been seized from the accused.

Delhi Women Commission chief Swati Maliwal has also reacted to the news of the FIR. She posted a photo of Elvish Yadav with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

"The CM of Haryana promotes this man from the platform. On one hand, talents like @SakshiMalik, @BajrangPunia are beaten on the streets and the Haryana government promotes such people. In its videos you will find obscene comments on girls and abusive language. Leaders can do anything for votes…," Swati Maliwal tweeted.

The arrests were made following a complaint by an animal welfare NGO.

"They used to collect a hefty sum of money for supplying the venom at parties," police said, as per NDTV.

Earlier this year, YouTuber Elvish Yadav became a household name after winning Salman Khan-hosted 'Bigg Boss OTT 2'.
