PSL 2024: Pakistani actress Sana Javed, who is the wife of Shoaib Malik, was subjected to the crowd chanting Sania Mirza's name.
Former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik recently got married to actress Sana Javed, and after this development, it was confirmed that India tennis star Sania Mirza had already taken divorce with Malik. In the latest entertainment news, Pakistani actress Sana was subjected to the crowd chanting Sania Mirza's name when she was attending the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans on Sunday. For the unversed, Shoaib Malik is playing for Karachi Kings in the PSL. In the video, Sana Javed can be seen cheering for her husband Malik, however, it was then that a group of fans tried to gain the attention of Sana by chanting Sania Mirza’s name.
In the video, Sana Javed can be seen seated on a VIP dais. A man seated in the stands can be seen screaming the name of Sania Mirza. He was then joined by a few other men, and they all started to chant Sania Mirza's name.
Sana Javed first tried to ignore the fan, however, she later turned back to smile at the crowd.

For the unversed, Sana Javed had married Shoaib Malik in January 2024. The couple had posted photos from their wedding ceremony on social media.
In the pictures, Shoaib Malik was seen wearing a white sherwani adorned with intricate golden detailing. On the other hand, Sana Javed was seen wearing a green and pink bridal ensemble with threadwork.
Following the news of Shoaib's wedding with Sana Javed, it was revealed that Sania Mirza that Sania had asked for a 'khula' with Shoaib.
For the unversed, khula is an Islamic law through which a woman can initiate a divorce from her husband unilaterally.
“Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now," Sania Mirza's family's statement read.
“She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead. At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well-wishers to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy,” the statement added.
Before his marriage to Sana Javed, Shoaib Malik was married to Sania Mirza. The duo had married each other in April 2010.
