“Good Human Being”: Rahul Vaidya Thanks Virat Kohli For “Unblocking” Him On Instagram
Days after taking potshots at Virat Kohli, Rahul Vaidya did a U-turn by praising him and revealing that the cricketer has now unblocked him on Instagram.
Singer Rahul Vaidya recently found himself at the centre of a social media storm after claiming that Indian cricketer Virat Kohli had blocked him on Instagram. The drama began when Rahul Vaidya commented on Virat Kohli liking a post dedicated to actress Avneet Kaur, which apparently didn’t sit well with the cricketer. However, in a surprising twist, Rahul Vaidya has now revealed that Virat Kohli has unblocked him. Not only did he take a step back from his earlier jabs, but he also showered praise on Virat Kohli, calling him “one of the greatest batsmen”.
Taking to Instagram, Rahul Vaidya wrote, “Virat Kohli thanks for unblocking me! You are one of the greatest batsman Cricket has ever seen and Aap India ka Garv ho. God bless you and your family.”

He added, “Also the immatured people who abused my wife and sister, morphed my lil girl's pics and sent so many abuses to me and my loved ones and are still continuing to do so. Bhagwan aap sab ko sadbuddi de. I can write the same and even worse things to you but I won't because it will only increase negativity which takes us nowhere!”
“Also Virat Kohli bhai apne mujhe jo bhi kaha I didn't feel bad because I know you are a very good human being and I remember you meeting me outside Manchester or Oval stadium and all the nice things you said to me about my singing. Love and peace to all,” Rahul Vaidya concluded.
Previously, Rahul Vaidya had taken a dig at Virat Kohli and he labelled the cricketer's fans as "jokers." This comment did not sit well with the fans of the superstar and they took to social media to abuse Rahul Vaidya and his family.
“Virat Kohli’s fans are even bigger jokers than Virat! And now you are abusing me that's fine but you are abusing my wife my sister.. who have nothing to do with this! So I was right. That's why you all Virat Kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers,” he wrote on Instagram Stories.
Recently, Virat Kohli was at the centre of a huge social media storm after several users noticed that his Instagram account had liked a post from a fan page dedicated to actress Avneet Kaur.
However, he issued a clarification regarding the same, saying, “I'd like to clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding.”
Last week, Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket, having played 123 Tests. He also captained India in 68 matches.
