Former Australia cricketer Shane Watson is currently in India as he is a part of the commentary panel for the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023. In the latest entertainment news, it looks like Shane Watson has won over Tamil fans as he played the iconic Ilaiyaraaja song 'En Iniya Pon Nilave' from 'Moodu Pani' on the guitar. The clip is now going insanely viral on social media. 

In the clip, which is a part of a promo of Star Sports, the interviewer asked Shane Watson regarding his special talent.

It was then that Shane Watson took out his guitar, and he played the prelude of 'En Iniya Pon Nilave.

Shane Watson is already a fan favourite in Tamil Nadu as he played for MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings for three consecutive years since 2018.

The right-handed batter, was exceptional in the final of 2018 IPL, and he helped CSK register a title win. 

However, Shane Watson is remembered for his knock in the final of 2019 IPL against Mumbai Indians, which went in vain. The batter, despite suffering a severe injury on his leg, continued to bat on.

After the match got over, Harbhajan Singh had taken to social media to post a picture of a blood-soaked pants of Watson, saying the Australian cricketer got six stitches for the injury.  

In international cricket, Watson played 59 Tests, 190 ODIs, and 58 T20Is for Australia.
