Amid Deepika Padukone's 'Besharam Rang' Controversy, Urfi Javed Drops Bold Video Wearing Saffron Outfit
Urfi Javed has created quite a stir on the internet with her new video, wherein she can be seen wearing a saffron cut-out outfit with 'Besharam Rang' playing in the background.
Urfi Javed, known for her bold and unusual outfits, is no stranger to controversies. And this time, Urfi Javed created a massive stir online by choosing to rock a colour that is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The social media sensation shared a video, wherein she can be seen rocking a saffron cut-out outfit with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s song ‘Besharam Rang’ playing in the background.
For the unversed, ‘Besharam Rang’ from SRK and Deepika’s upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’ landed in trouble for its costumes and choreography.
A sequence in ‘Besharam Rang’ showed Deepika Padukone in a saffron bikini, which led to protests and outrage across India for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.
Coming back to Urfi Javed’s video, she wore a saffron-coloured cut-out top and skirt. She styled her shiny locks in a neatly-tied sleek ponytail.

As soon as Urfi Javed dropped the video on Instagram, several people flocked to the comments section to react to it.

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Pathaan’, the film is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars John Abraham.
Recently, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had directed the film’s makers to implement "changes" in the movie, including its songs, in accordance with board guidelines.
This week more controversy broke out after Bajrang Dal workers were seen destroying ‘Pathaan’ posters and creating ruckus at a theatre in a mall in Ahmedabad. The video was shared by Bajrang Dal Gujarat wing’s Twitter handle.
‘Pathaan’ will release on January 25 and the trailer will reportedly be out on January 10.
