"Producer Ke Saath…": Ankita Lokhande’s SHOCKING Casting Couch Revelation
Actress Ankita Lokhande has revealed some shocking details about her casting couch experience.
TV actress Ankita Lokhande is quite a popular figure, and she was last seen in Salman Khan-hosted show 'Bigg Boss 17'. Fans were expecting her to win the latest season of the reality TV show, however, to everyone's shock, Ankita Lokhande was not even able to finish in the top 3. She was the second contestant to be evicted in the finale after Arun Mashettey, and it was Munawar Faruqui who ended up winning the show. In the latest entertainment news, the 'Manikarnika' actress has made some shocking claims about a South film producer, with whom she had a casting couch experience.
When she was asked if she has ever faced the 'casting couch,' the 'Pavitra Rishta' actress said "yes" in a matter of seconds.
"Maine South film audition diya tha. Mujhe call aaya ki aap sign karne aa jao. Mai bahut khush thi, toh maine apni maa ko bola mai sign karke aati hu. Mujhe bhi doubt tha ki itni aasani se kaise hua," Ankita Lokhande told Hautterfly.
"Jab mai sign karne gayi toh sirf mujhe andar bulaya aur meri co-ordinator ko rukne ko kaha. Mujhe bola gaya, 'you have to compromise.' I was just 19 at the time. Tabhi mera heroine banna hai walla phase chal raha tha. I played smart and asked again, toh mujhe kaha gaya, 'Apko producer ke sath sona padega," she added.
Speaking further about it, Ankita Lokhande said, "I told him that, 'I don't think your producer needs talent; he just needs a girl to sleep with, and I am not that one' and I just walked off."
Earlier, while reacting to her not being able to win 'Bigg Boss 17', Ankita Lokhande said that she was "shocked" upon seeing the result.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ankita Lokhande said, "I was shocked. I was not really upset with the whole thing, but I was shocked. You know that people are out there supporting you; people love you. Thoda sa shocking laga that, but I am okay with that. I am sure so jeeta hai wo deserving hai, unke bahar itne followers hai.”
"There are people jo Munawar ko itna pyaar karta hain. Munawar jeeta hain toh koi baat nahi lekin mehnat hum saab ne kii hain. It’s part of the game," she added.
For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande is best known for her role in TV show Pavitra Rishta and she will next be seen in Randeep Hooda-starrer 'Swatantra Veer Savarkar'.
