‘Bigg Boss 16’ Fame Abdu Rozik Postpones His Wedding With Amira Due To This Reason
Abdu Rozik, who became a household name after his stint in ‘Bigg Boss 16’, was supposed to get married to his fiancée Amira in July 2024.
Tajikistani singer, boxer and blogger Abdu Rozik had entered the ‘Bigg Boss 16’ house and managed to win over everyone with his cute antics. The internet sensation has often been mistaken for a child. Abdu Rozik, who built a strong friendship with fellow ‘BB 16’ contestants Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan and MC Stan, suffers from growth hormone deficiency (GHD). After his ‘BB 16’ stint, Abdu Rozik managed to remain in the limelight and released his debut Hindi single titled 'Chota Bhaijaan', as an ode to Bollywood megastar Salman Khan.
Recently, Abdu Rozik grabbed headlines when he announced his wedding with Amira. However, now a new report by ETimes is suggesting that the ‘BB 16’ fame has postponed his wedding because he has been offered his debut title boxing match.
The boxing match is scheduled for July 6, 2024 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. For the unversed, Abdu Rozik’s wedding was supposed to take place on July 7.
Speaking about the postponement of his marriage, Abdu Rozik said, “I never imagined that I’ll get the chance to fight for a title in my life. After so many good things happening this year for my career and my love life, unfortunately, I have to postpone the wedding as this match will give us huge financial security for the future.”
He further said, “Amira supports my decision fully as it will change a lot for us. It’s the first-ever title for someone my size and I have a heavy training camp to endure as well these days.”
Abdu Rozik left everyone surprised when he took to his Instagram handle to announce that he will get married in July 2024. He later revealed that his ladylove’s name is Amira and that they met at an eatery in Dubai for the first time.
“She is pretty, has long hair and beautiful eyes. I introduced myself and we exchanged numbers. We have known each other for the last four months. She is studying business administration in Sharjah,” the ‘BB 16’ fame had told Bombay Times.
The new wedding date has not been announced yet but Abdu Rozik has assured his fans that the celebration will take place soon after the match.
Currently, he is focussed on his rigorous training routine, aiming to make history in the boxing ring. Abdu Rozik believes that by participating at this level, he will inspire others in the sport who have disabilities.
