Bigg Boss 16: MC Stan was announced as the winner.
MC Stan has been announced as the winner of the uber-popular Bigg Boss 16. The winner was made official on the finale night, and after weeks of providing entertainment to fans, the Salman Khan-hosted show has come to an end. MC Stan defeated the likes of Shiv Thakare, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Archana Gautam, and Shalin Bhanot to take the coveted prize home. Heading into the finale, fans were anticipating that either Priyanka or Shiv will be the winner, but this was not to be the case.
As a result of being the winner, MC Stan walked away with a cash prize of Rs 31,80,000 and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
Of all the five finalists, Shalin Bhanot finished in the fifth spot, Archana Gautam finished in the fourth spot, Priyanka came third and Shiv Thakare finished in the second spot.
Sajid Khan, Abdu Rozik, Shiv Thakare, Sumbul Touqueer Khan, MC Stan and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia who were a part of the mandali gave an amazing performance on the night of the finale.
Detailing their rivalry on the show, Shiv Thakare, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary were also involved in a fantastic dance-off and they performed on the 'Kuttey' song 'Phir Se Dan Te Nan'.
During the finale, all five finalists, met their mothers inside the house and after that, they interacted with the host Salman Khan.
Prior to the finale, director Rohit Shetty had featured on Bigg Boss 16 and he made the contestants do some high-octane stunts.
It was Shalin who completed all the tasks, and emerged victorious. However, when Shetty offered him a gig at 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', Shalin turned it down. This decision was not received well by other contestants and Archana Gautam also gave him a piece of her mind.
'Bigg Boss 16' started airing in October in 2022, and ever since its premiere, the show continued to be lapped up by fans. The recently-concluded season also saw a spike in TRPs and there were many controversial moments.
