‘Bigg Boss 16’: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia Shares First Post After Her Surprise Eviction From Show
'Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has been evicted from the Salman Khan-hosted show. After her surprise exit, she shared a video message for her fans.
Expect the unexpected from ‘Bigg Boss 16’! The controversial reality show, hosted by Salman Khan, is known for dropping major twists and turns. And in what could be called the biggest twist in the history of ‘Bigg Boss’, the show marked a game changing chapter by introducing an election to arrive at the top five finalists of ‘BB 16’. Just days ahead of the finale, the makers of the show invited ‘Bigg Boss 16’ viewers to vote for their favourite contestants to remain in the finale race.
And Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia received the lowest number of votes, leading to her surprise eviction from the reality show. Post her elimination from ‘BB 16’, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia shared a video on Instagram.
She captioned the video, “Thanks to all the fans for all the love and support through out this journey and as i said IT IS JUST A BEGINNING. NIM MEANS WIN. NIMRIT WON HEARTS.”

After Nimrit’s eviction, the top 5 finalists are Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shiv Thakare, MC Stan, Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam.
Nimrit, who won the ‘Ticket To Finale’ last week and became the first finalist, was eliminated from the show on Monday’s episode.
In a surprise move, Bigg Boss brought a group of viewers inside the house for a unique eviction task. The six contestants had to perform in front of the live audience in three rounds. After each round, the audience had to cast their vote to save their favourite contestant.
It happened for the first time in the history of ‘Bigg Boss’ that the audience was given a chance to enter the house and eliminate a contestant.
Nimrit could not garner enough votes in her support and had to exit the house. Before walking out, she told her ‘mandali’ friends MC Stan and Shiv Thakare that she wants them to become the final two contestants.
The grand finale of ‘BB 16’ will take place on February 12. Salman Khan will return as the host for the finale episode.
