The drama quotient of ‘Bigg Boss’ is always high with major controversies shocking the viewers time and again. And the current season of the Indian reality show is no different. ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestants Shalin Bhanot and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia got into a massive war of words after Shalin made fun of her mental illness. Nimrit, who has been vocal about her struggles with anxiety and depression in the past, threatened to sue Shalin for his remarks.
In the upcoming episode of ‘Bigg Boss 16’, set to air on Thursday, the current captain of the house Nimrit will be seen getting into a heated argument with Shalin. During a task, Nimrit calls out fellow contestant Tina Datta for breaking the rules to help Shalin.
The promo of the episode shared by Colors TV shows Nimrit asking Shalin, "What is your problem?” Shalin charges towards her and tells her, “I have a lot of problems, mere ko mental issue bhi hai, mere ko sab hai (I have mental issues).”
Nimrit can be seen losing her cool and breaking down. She then tells him “Such attitude! Kisi ke depression ka mazak udaate ho! Accha hua… Aapki asaliyat dikhi (You are making fun of someone's depression. Your true self has been revealed)." Later, Nimrit yells at Shalin and tells him, "You have exposed your reality now. Next time, you bloody make fun of my mental illness, I will sue you."
For the uninitiated, during her ‘Bigg Boss 16’ stint, Nimrit Kaur had revealed that she battled depression during the shoot of her famous TV show ‘Chhoti Sardarni’ and had not fully healed yet.
