Ankit Gupta is the latest contestant to be evicted from ‘Bigg Boss 16’, the controversial reality show hosted by Salman Khan. Ankit Gupta’s elimination from ‘BB 16’ has become the talk of the town, with fans demanding his return. In one of the latest episodes of ‘Bigg Boss 16’ when Ankit’s elimination was announced, fellow contestant Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was seen breaking down as they spent some emotional moments before Ankit left the house. Besides Priyanka, Ankit was also friends with Sajid Khan on the show.
After Ankit left ‘BB 16’, Sajid Khan was seen having a conversation with Priyanka where he called Ankit Gupta “star material” adding that “he’s made for bigger things”.
Talking to Priyanka Chahar Choudhary in the garden area of ‘Bigg Boss 16’, Sajid Khan told the actress that everyone just listens to his stories but no one considers his film offers.
"People don’t reciprocate, at least Ankit used to reciprocate when I used to talk about doing a film together. He also has knowledge about it and the desire and wishes to do a film. Therefore, I will meet him outside and give him a lecture that he has to take his career a little more seriously," he said.
Sajid Khan also told Priyanka Chahar Choudhary that Ankit Gupta has the potential to win over the public.
Sajid Khan said that he can “identify a star” from a distance while adding that Ankit Gupta is “made for bigger things”.
Priyanka then questioned Sajid Khan that he had told her that Ankit would be in the show till the finale but he was eliminated mid-way. Sajid responded by saying that staying in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house for almost 13 weeks is not a joke.
Ankit Gupta was evicted from ‘BB 16’ on December 25, 2022, after the majority of the contestants took his name for contributing the least to the reality show.
