"Very Proud Of...": Ankita Lokhande Reveals Reason Behind Talking About Sushant Singh Rajput Repeatedly Inside 'BB17' House
'Bigg Boss 17': Ankita Lokhande has opened up on why she keeps on talking about the late actor and her former boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput.
'Bigg Boss 17' is nearing its grand finale and it needs to be seen who walks away with the trophy. The Salman Khan-hosted show will host its grand finale on January 28, 2024. Ankita Lokhande is one of the strongest contenders this season and in the latest entertainment news, she has opened up on why she keeps on talking about the late actor and her former boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput.
In a press conference that took place inside the 'Bigg Boss 17' house, Ankita was asked about Sushant Singh Rajput, and it was then that she said that she keeps on talking about the actor because she is proud of him.
She also talked about how fellow 'BB17' contestant Abhishek Kumar had told her that he wanted to be like Sushant Singh Rajput.
"Jab main aur Abhishek baatein karte the, Abhishek Sushant ke bahut bade fan the, wo abhi bhi unko inspiration mante hai. Mujhe lagta tha agar main Sushant ki koi bhi chiz achi bata saku, kyunki usne ache kaam kiye hai, maine Sushant ko dekha hai aur maine unki journey ko dekha hai," said Ankita Lokhande.
"And I feel very proud of talking about Sushant wherever I am, and there is nothing wrong about talking about Sushant. I am only saying good things about him which I know so that is fine. Jitna me Sushant ko janti hu utna koi nahi janta. Agar ek ladka sochta hai ki mujhe SSR jaisa banna hai, so I will definitely talk to him," she added.
Earlier, Ankita's mother-in-law Ranjana Jain and Vicky Jain, among others, have said that the 'Pavitra Rishta' actress keeps on talking about Sushant Singh Rajput to gain the sympathy of the viewers.
Ankita's mother had also advised her to not talk about Sushant as Vicky's family might not like it.
For the unversed, Ankita and Sushant dated each other for over half a decade before breaking up.
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide in 2020.
