Ankita Lokhande Reveals She Cried After Watching Sushant Singh Rajput’s Intimate Scenes In ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’
'Bigg Boss 17': In the latest episode, Ankita Lokhande revealed that she cried after watching Sushant Singh Rajput’s intimate scenes in ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’.
Ankita Lokhande, who made her Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, rose to fame after playing the role of Archana in the popular TV show ‘Pavitra Rishta’, which also starred late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Their on-screen and off-screen chemistry was loved by all. They spent many years together before breaking up in 2016. Ankita Lokhande is now married to businessman Vicky Jain. The two are currently in the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house. Recently, Ankita Lokhande candidly spoke about her relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput on ‘BB 17’.
Ankita Lokhande, who often talks about the late actor in ‘BB 17’, remembered Sushant Singh Rajput fondly in the latest episode. She recalled the time when he booked an entire theatre for Ankita Lokhande to watch his first onscreen kiss in ‘PK’, and intimate scenes in the film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. She also shared that he knew very well that her reaction will not be nice.
Ankita Lokhande spoke to fellow ‘BB 17’ contestant Abhishek Kumar as they discussed possessive nature of partners in a relationship. Ankita Lokhande recalled the time when she was dating Sushant Singh Rajput and when ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ released, he ensured that she watched his intimate scenes alone.
“He had booked an entire hall. He knew that I would get miffed. I saw it and my nails were like this (enacts nails digging in the seat). The entire movie got over and I went back and cried a lot,” Ankita Lokhande said.
The Indian actress also revealed that later when the two of them would get intimate, she would get flashbacks of his movie scenes.
She shared, “Mere mind me wo hi flashbacks aaye, main jhatak diya. To see your boyfriend kissing someone else.”
On being asked if Sushant Singh Rajput took her permission before agreeing to kiss a co-star in a film, Ankita Lokhande said, “Main career mein kisi ke nahi aa sakti but dekhna alag cheez hai.”
The Indian actress also said that his scenes with Anushka Sharma in ‘PK’ upset her too. “Even in PK, mereko chakkar aa gaye the,” she shared.

The actress confirmed that she was in a relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput until the 2016 hit film ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ released.
Earlier, in one of the episodes, Ankita Lokhande said that she hid her breakup with Sushant Singh Rajput from public for almost two years, hoping that he would come back to her.
She said, “I had hopes of Sushant returning as our relationship was of seven years. I had hoped he would return home and hence I didn’t tell anyone. I was staying in a home which had photos of us all over.”
For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput had fallen in love on the sets of TV serial 'Pavitra Rishta'. The duo had begun dating in 2010.
Talking about 'Pavitra Rishta', Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput played the roles of Archana and Manav, respectively.
Sushant Singh Rajput then quit the show in 2011 to focus on his Bollywood career. The actor had died in June 2020, and at that time, he was dating actress Rhea Chakraborty.
