Ankita Lokhande Says She Had "Hopes" Of Sushant Singh Rajput Returning To Her After Breakup
There have been several occasions on Bigg Boss 17 where Ankita Lokhande has discussed her relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

There have been several occasions where Ankita Lokhande has discussed her relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande entered the 'Bigg Boss 17' house with her husband Vicky Jain. Before marrying Vicky Jain, Ankita had dated her 'Pavitra Rishta' co-star Sushant Singh Rajput for seven years.
In the latest episode of 'Bigg Boss 17', Ankita Lokhande recalled how she waited for Sushant Singh Rajput to return to her even after two years of breakup.
"Bahut baar banda batata nahi hai break-up ke baare main kyunki ussko lagta hai ki shayad wapas relationship thik hojaye. Ek hope rehti hai yaar. For two years, I didn’t want anyone to know about my breakup," said Ankita Lokhande, as reported by Indian Express.
“I had hopes of Sushant returning as our relationship was of seven years. I had hoped he would return home and hence I didn’t tell anyone. I was staying in a home which had photos of us all over,” Ankita added.
Earlier, Ankita Lokhande had said that it was after two years that she asked her mother to remove all her photos with Sushant from their home.
“I just told my mother. I just went inside my room, my mother removed the photos, and tore them up. I cried that day. That was the end of everything,” Ankita had told BBC News Hindi.
For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande moved on in life after two-and-half-years after her breakup with Sushant.
Ankita Lokhande was trolled quite a bit on social media after she made her relationship with Vicky Jain public. The duo had gotten married in 2021.
Talking about her bond with Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande said, "When I met Vicky I didn’t know what it would lead to but he supported me a lot. He handled me with so much love. Vicky never questioned me about anything. Everyone trolled him badly but ussne mera bahut sath diya, itna koi deta nahi hai."
Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain who are currently a part of 'Bigg Boss 17' house, are often seen arguing with each other.
For the unversed, SSR was found dead at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai on June 14, 2020.
Earlier, Ankita Lokhande had also spoken about her breakup with Sushant Singh Rajput, and how it took her a lot of time to "move on."
