'Bigg Boss 19' will stream on JioHotstar at 9:00 PM and air on COLORS at 10:30 PM. The theme of the show this year is 'Gharwalon ki Sarkaar', signalling a shift in the power dynamics, giving the housemates all the control.
For the very first time, the power won't rest with 'Bigg Boss', rather it will be with the housemates and everything will reportedly be done in accordance to their whims and fancies.
The makers are yet to unveil the names of contestants for the upcoming season.

Salman Khan is back as the host. In the teaser, he can be seen wearing a Nehru jacket. He imitates a politician's speech, saying, "Friends and enemies, brace yourselves because this time it's the housemates who will rule. Too much fun is guaranteed!”
Reflecting the show’s new twist, Salman Khan said, “I have been a part of Bigg Boss for very long now and as we all know, Bigg Boss reinvents the game every year aur iss baar, it is gharwalo ki sarkar. And when too many people start pulling the strings, it’s bound to get messy. That’s when the cracks show, and the house turns into a warzone. After all these years, I can honestly say I’m just as kicked as you are to see how it all plays out.”
Meanwhile, on the film front, Salman was last seen in ‘Sikandar’, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and directed by ‘Ghajini’ fame AR Murugadoss. Despite high expectations, the action drama opened to mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office.
While being Salman's comeback to the big screen after a hiatus since 2023, ‘Sikandar’ failed to make a significant mark. Released on March 30, the film collected Rs 26 crore on its opening day. By the end of its first week, it garnered Rs 90.25 crore.
However, the film did manage to enter the Rs 100 crore club on its eighth day of release, earning Rs 4.50 crore that day and bringing the total to Rs 102.25 crore net, according to Sacnilk.
Up next, Salman Khan will headline ‘Battle of Galwan’, a patriotic drama that also features Chitrangada Singh. The first look motion poster, shared by Salman Khan recently, showed him in a blood-stained army uniform with an intense gaze.
