Here's what Elvish Yadav had to say about Munawar Faruqui being detained at a hookah parlour in Mumbai.

'Bigg Boss' winners have been going through a rough time of late. 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav and 'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui have been hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Earlier, Elvish Yadav was arrested and sent to 14-day judicial custody in the ongoing snake venom case, and now, Munawar Faruqui was detained at a hookah parlour in Mumbai. However, it is important to mention that Elvish Yadav was granted bail last week while Munawar Faruqui was also released from the custody.

In the latest Indian celebrity news, Elvish Yadav has reacted to Munawar Faruqui being detained by the Mumbai Police.

"Biggboss Jeetne Ke Baad Sabka Bura Time Shuru Hojaata Hai Kya," Elvish wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Speaking of Munawar Faruqui, the stand-up comedian was among a few people detained after a raid took place at a hookah bar in Mumbai's Fort area on Tuesday night. However, everyone involved was released after questioning.

"During the raid, the police found stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and others smoking hookahs at the joint. We also have a video of their act. We detained Faruqui and others, but they were later allowed to go as the sections slapped against them were bailable," a senior police official told news agency PTI.

On the other hand, Elvish Yadav was granted bail in the snake venom case by Gautam Buddha Nagar District Court.

For the unversed, Elvish Yadav was arrested by the Noida Police under the NDPS Act and Wildlife Protection. After his arrest, Elvish Yadav was sent to a 14-day judicial custody.

Elvish Yadav was arrested by the Noida Police on Sunday, March 17. He was arrested along with five others, and all of them were charged under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.

Elvish Yadav had won 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' last year while Munawar Faruqui was adjudged as the winner of Salman Khan-hosted 'Bigg Boss 17', earlier this year.
