Uorfi Javed Gets "Death, Rape Threats" For Recreating Chhote Pandit Character From 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'
As soon as 'Bigg Boss OTT' star Uorfi Javed uploaded the video on Instagram, many users urged her to take the post down.
Uorfi Javed has made a name for herself through her out-of-the-box fashion choices. Her sartorial choices have been criticised by several people in the past. However, in the latest entertainment news, the trolling has just gotten out of hand, and taking to social media, Uorfi Javed revealed that she has been receiving "death and rape threats". Recently, Uorfi Javed had recreated actor Rajpal Yadav's look from the movie 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'.
For Halloween, Uorfi Javed dressed up as 'Chhote Pandit', the character essayed by Rajpal Yadav in the movie.
"I’m just shocked and appalled by this country mahn, I’m getting death threats in recreating a character from a movie where as that character didn’t get any backlash," Uorfi Javed wrote on X.

The 'Bigg Boss OTT' star also made the same kind of post on Instagram, and there she wrote, "Rajpal yadav se kisi ko koi problem nahi hua but maine jab ye look recreate liya toh sabko mujhse problem hai . I’ve received so many death threats, rape threats for no reason . All these so called dharm k rakshak suddenly woke up after I wore this outfit 10 years of bhool Bhulaiya movie ! No color belongs to any religion , no agarbatti belongs to any religion , no flower belongs to any religion."

Uorfi Javed had painted her face red and wore an orange dhoti and a red top. She also put a marigold garland around her neck and 2 incense sticks on her ears.
As soon as the video went live on Uorfi Javed's Instagram, several users asked her to take it down as it was "insulting and aimed at offending Hindus".
When one opens the particular post of Uorfi Javed, you will be able to find several threatening comments. The social media sensation has also been abused by several users.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Uorfi Javed has appeared in several TV shows including ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.
She rose to fame after participating in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Recently, Uorfi Javed appeared as a Mischief Maker in the 14th edition of ‘MTV Splitsvilla’.
Uorfi Javed is reportedly all set to make her Bollywood debut with Ektaa R Kapoor’s Love, ‘Sex Aur Dokha 2’. However, the makers are yet to make an official confirmation regarding this.
