Hina Khan recently opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis. Amid this, she shared a video from her first chemotherapy session.
Indian actress Hina Khan, known for starring in several popular Hindi TV shows, recently shared that she has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer and undergoing treatment for it. Hina Khan, who is also an avid Instagram user with over 19 million followers, took to the social media platform and shared a new post about her cancer diagnosis. In her latest Instagram entry, Hina revealed that she attended an award show in Mumbai, after which she went for her first chemotherapy session.
Hina Khan also mentioned that her work matters the most and that she has made a conscious choice to normalise the challenges that life throws at her. Along with a long caption, Hina Khan also shared a video from her first chemotherapy session.
The video began with Hina Khan posing for photographers on the red carpet and receiving an award at the event. She is then seen entering a hospital for her chemotherapy session. In the video, Hina Khan can be seen saying, “All glam is gone and I'm ready for my first chemo in the hospital. Let's get better.”

For the unversed, Hina Khan revealed her cancer diagnosis in an Instagram post last week. A part from Hina Khan's statement read, “Hello everyone, To address the recent rumours, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and truly committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.”
Hina Khan became a household name after she featured as Akshara in the hit TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. She also participated in reality shows like ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8’ and ‘Bigg Boss 11’.
The Indian actress was also seen in a brief appearance in the popular TV show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and then ‘Naagin 5’.
Hina Khan’s film credits include ‘Hacked’, ‘Smartphone’, ‘Lines’, ‘Wishlist’, and ‘Unlock’ to name a few.
She recently made her debut in Punjabi films with ‘Shinda Shinda No Papa’. The film also starred Gippy Grewal. She was also seen in the Amazon miniTV series ‘Namacool’.
