Munawar Faruqui Married For Second Time, Here's All You Need To Know About His New Wife Mehzabeen Coatwala
'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui has gotten married to makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala, as per a report.
Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui, who won Salman Khan-hosted 'Bigg Boss 17', has gotten married for the second time. As per several reports, the 'Lock Upp' winner had a secret wedding, which was only attended by his close friends and family in attendance. As per Indian Express, a close family member of Munawar Faruqui has indeed confirmed that the stand-up comedian has gotten married to makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala. The same report states that Mehzabeen Coatwala belongs to the Memon community and she is a makeup artist by profession.
As per Indian Express, she resides at Agripada, Mumbai Central, South Mumbai. However, it has not been confirmed that whether it is a love marriage or arranged marriage.
The couple tied the knot in Mumbai about 10-12 days ago, and the duo held a wedding reception on Sunday at ITC Maratha.
Earlier, Munawar Faruqui's fan account had put up a post claiming the comedian's secret wedding. A picture of the wedding invitation has also been going viral on social media.
Recently, Hina Khan, who was seen in a music video with Munawar Faruqui, put up a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories with the song, "Meri Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.”
Earlier, Munawar Faruqui had faced backlash after his ex-girlfriend’s Ayesha Khan and Nazila Sitashi accused him of cheating.
This is Munawar Faruqui's second marriage. He was previously married, and he also shares a son with his ex-wife.
During his time in the 'Bigg Boss 17' house, Munawar Faruqui got emotional while talking about his son and said, “My ex-wife is married now, and I have custody of my son.” In 2022, he had shared in an interview that other than speaking about his son’s expenses, the comedian is not in touch with his ex-wife.
On the other hand, Mehzabeen’s first marriage had also ended in a divorce.
