‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Tina Datta expressed her disappointment over MC Stan lifting the winner’s trophy, questioning his contribution in the Salman Khan-hosted show.
After over 4 months of drama, controversies, fights and full-on entertainment, ‘Bigg Boss 16’ concluded on February 12. While many people thought either Shiv Thakare or Priyanka Chahar Choudhary will win the show, rapper MC Stan took home the winner’s trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 31 lakh and a car. Since ‘BB 16’ ended, many celebrities have offered their two cents on who should have won the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. And the latest one to share her opinion on the same is former ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Tina Datta. The actress recently expressed her disappointment over MC Stan’s win, questioning his contribution in the show.

In the video, Tina Datta can be seen saying, “Yeah, I mean Stan dhaai mahine tak so he raha tha. Usko ghar jana tha jo bhi hai. But again, iss baar dynamics kuch aur tha. Bigg Boss ka game he kuch aur tha. Which is basically you know jiska bahar fan following zyada hai ya jiska abhi taza taza show khatam hua hai, wo kuch na bhi karke show jeet sakte the, aisa wala scene tha.”
She adds, “So who are we to say anything about it.”
Besides Tina Datta, many people including Ankit Gupta have gone on to express their disappointment over MC Stan’s victory.
However, the rapper’s fans argued that he didn’t create any unnecessary drama in the ‘Bigg Boss 16’ house and left everyone impressed with his game. He stood by his friends whenever required.
Tina Datta, on the hand, was eliminated from the ‘BB 16’ house on January 28.
Interestingly, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who was one of the most popular contestants on ‘Bigg Boss 16’, had praised MC Stan by saying there is an X- Factor in him which is just too appealing.
MC Stan was even questioned about people calling him “undeserving” after he won the show to which he told The Indian Express, “I honestly don’t care about them, mujhe fark nahi padta mama. I actually like people who get jealous. It’s a very natural emotion in a human being. One just needs to accept that this wasn’t meant for them. Just like most fans, I am also shocked but I do feel I deserved to win.”
Talking about ‘Bigg Boss 16’, the Salman Khan-hosted show’s runner-up was Shiv Thakare. The other finalists of ‘BB 16’ were Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam.
