Her fashion sense and bold personality often get her into trouble. But she has turned a deaf ear to all the criticism she faces and often gives it back to her naysayers. In July 2023, she got into a spat with a man who commented on her choice of clothing. Uorfi Javed didn't hold back and gave the man a befitting answer.
She recently appeared on Filmy Gyan’s podcast titled ‘DeTalks’. During her appearance on the podcast, she was asked about her argument with the man. Filmy Gyan also posted a glimpse from the podcast on Instagram, where Uorfi Javed can be seen candidly talking about her spat with the man.

In the video, Uorfi Javed can be seen saying, “Dude, I mean, it is just so natural, ab koi ladki chal rahi hai sadak pe, koi aadmi aa ke uss ladki ko bolega ki ye kya pehna hai? Ye kya pehna hai? Toh naturally nikalegi na, ki apna kaam kar na uncle.”
She added, “Ab mere muh se yehi ab nikalta hai, ki ye buddha mere beech me bahut bolta hai. It is just so irritating. Tum chal rahe ho, ladki ya ladka koi bhi chalega, koi aakar baar baar, tumko bolna hai, mere peeth peeche bolo, don't invade my private space.”
Soon after the video was posted on Instagram, several social media users reacted to Uorfi Javed’s take on the entire incident.
One user wrote, “Respect button for urfi.”
Another one added, “Sahi toh keh rahi haiii.”
A third one commented, “First of all she has a very wrong notion about her self that she’s an inspiration to the youth!! Like really? Forget her clothes she doesn’t even present herself in a dignified manner!She always thinks she is right..I mean what kind of attitude is this? She is dangerous for the youth! First she should learn how to speak in a dignified manner and respect other persons views! She always has an explanation for her stupidity.”
Another one said, “Ladki agr tumhari jaise ho to bolega hii.”
“No uncle ji was right. And if you are so worried abt private space toh public figure kyu banna chahti with all those cheap tricks. There are other celebrities too par everyone is targeting you so there has to be a reason for that,” another comment on the post read.
On July 24, Uorfi Javed was spotted at the Mumbai airport and got into an argument with an elderly man. In the video posted by Viral Bhayani, Uorfi Javed can be seen wearing a backless green maxi dress. As she was walking, one elderly man stopped her to say, "Allowed nahi hai aisa kapda India main, yeh galat hai, India ka naam kharab karte ho aap."
This rubbed Uorfi Javed the wrong way, and she said, "Toh aapke baap ka kuch ja raha hai, nahi ja raha na aapke baap ka, jao apna kaam karo. Uncle apna kaam karo. Apna kaam kar na.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Uorfi Javed has appeared in several TV shows including ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.
She rose to fame after participating in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Recently, Uorfi Javed appeared as a Mischief Maker in the 14th edition of ‘MTV Splitsvilla’.
Uorfi Javed is reportedly all set to make her Bollywood debut with Ektaa R Kapoor’s Love, ‘Sex Aur Dokha 2’. However, the makers are yet to make an official confirmation regarding this.
