Love her or hate her, you cannot ignore Uorfi Javed and her unconventional fashion choices. She has single-handedly changed the way one perceives fashion and style with her sartorial picks. From being an object for massive social media trolling to participating in reality shows and collaborating with big fashion designers, Uorfi Javed has indeed come a long way. However, her journey to fame has been anything but easy. The social media sensation, who also makes headlines for her strong opinions, opened up about her painful childhood.

In a recent podcast with YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, Uorfi Javed got candid and spoke about how her father was very conservative and used to hit her.

Uorfi Javed revealed what she was like in her childhood. “I was underconfident, weird, and had no friends. I was a confused soul,” said Uorfi, while talking about her childhood days.

The TV actress opened up about how her father was extremely conservative and her mother had to raise five kids at a very young age. Getting candid about her painful childhood and how her father used to beat her to the point she was unconscious, she said, “I was not close to my father at all. If one of the parents gets angry and that anger is being taken out on me, that is a different thing.”

She added, “Aap maar ke samjhaoge kisi bacche ko ki wo behosh ho jaaye, toh phir kya hi samjh aayega bacche ko. Aap palat ke to kuch bol nahi sakte ho toh wo gussa badhta jaata hai and then at one point you are like ‘Ho gaya yaar’. Jab baccha bada ho jata hai and aap uspe haath uthaate ho toh wo bahut negatively affect karta hai.”

Uorfi Javed also talked about the social media trolling she deals with on a daily basis. She said, “Maybe what they say is right- maybe I am not good enough to be a woman, maybe I am a stain on society, maybe I am a bad example for the younger generation. In the language of trolls, as they say it, maybe I am a s**t. I can’t quit and even if I do, what’s happened is always there on the internet.”

She added, “Kya mai itni buri hoon? Maybe no one will accept me, no family will accept me.” She went on to say that she gets thoughts that no one would want to become her friend.

Talking about Uorfi Javed, she has appeared in several TV shows including ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.

She rose to fame after participating in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Recently, Uorfi Javed appeared as a Mischief Maker in the MTV India dating reality show ‘Splitsvilla 14’.

She was also approached for Rohit Shetty-hosted ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’. However, she has rejected the stunt-based reality show.
