“More B***S…”: Uorfi Javed’s Candid Take On Getting More Views On Social Media
Uorfi Javed recently admitted that she is capitalising on her “sexualisation” but she isn’t the first one to do so.
Uorfi Javed, who rose to fame with her stint in the Karan Johar-hosted 'Bigg Boss OTT’, consistently garners attention for her fearless and unconventional fashion choices. What may seem junk to you is used by Uorfi Javed to create a wacky outfit. Whether it's crafting a dress from safety pins or making a skirt from wrist watches, she continues to push boundaries. Her penchant for experimental and daring outfits ensures that she remains a fixture in the spotlight. With her bizarre sartorial choices, Uorfi Javed has become a huge Instagram influencer.
She has also been praised by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Masaba Gupta, and Honey Singh, among many others. However, Uorfi Javed is also subjected to massive trolling on social media. Recently, the 'Bigg Boss OTT' star was involved in an argument with an elderly man, who was asking her to not wear revealing clothes in public.
Uorfi Javed has now admitted that she is capitalising on her “sexualisation” but she isn’t the first one to do so.
"I admit that I am capitalising on my sexualisation but it is not something new. Movies and directors have been doing that for ages. They sexualise women in their movie but the women face the backlash while the directors and producers are making money. I wanted to take charge. I wanted to sexualise myself and I want to make my own money," Uorfi Javed said at the India Today Mumbai Conclave 2023.
Uorfi Javed then spoke about how she was struggling to make ends meet as an actress, but a stint in 'Bigg Boss OTT' made her realise that she could make more of this opportunity.
“I knew this is my only chance at fame, at success or maybe to earn some decent amount of money. So I knew sexualising my body in front of the cameras can get me views. I didn’t know about money back then but maybe some attention and then we’ll figure out from there,” she said.
The social media sensation also admitted that being in front of the paparazzi is her happiest place as she loves “flashing lights”.
When asked what thought she puts into getting more views on her Instagram reels, Uorfi Javed laughingly said, “More b***s, more views.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Uorfi Javed has appeared in several TV shows including ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.
She rose to fame after participating in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Recently, Uorfi Javed appeared as a Mischief Maker in the 14th edition of ‘MTV Splitsvilla’.
Uorfi Javed is reportedly all set to make her Bollywood debut with Ektaa R Kapoor’s Love, ‘Sex Aur Dokha 2’. However, the makers are yet to make an official confirmation regarding this.
