“Ranbir Ki Kya Aukaat Hai”: Urfi Javed After Kareena Kapoor Compliments Her Confidence, Fashion Choices

Love her or hate her, you cannot ignore Urfi Javed and her unconventional fashion choices. Urfi Javed has single-handedly changed the way one perceived fashion and style with her sartorial picks. From being an object for massive social media trolling to participating in reality shows and now collaborating with big fashion designers, Urfi Javed has come a long way. Apart from her bold and experimental fashion sense, she also makes headlines for her strong opinions and unfiltered statements.
This time, she is back with another statement worthy of being in the limelight. Urfi Javed recently reacted to the comments made by Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan on her fashion choices. While Ranbir Kapoor called her fashion choices “bad taste”, Kareena Kapoor couldn’t stop praising Urfi Javed for her confidence and style.
In a recent chat with Humans of Bombay, Urfi Javed said now that Kareena has given her verdict, she doesn’t care about Ranbir’s opinion.
Urfi Javed said, “I was blown away, I thought she was joking. After looking at the video I realized that I have achieved something in life.”
She added that she was upset after coming across Ranbir’s comments and said, “Bhaad mein jaaye Ranbir, Kareena ne meri tareef kiya hain, ab toh kya hain, Ranbir ki kya aukat hain.”
For the unversed, in a conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan on her show ‘What Women Want’, Ranbir Kapoor had revealed that he is not a fan of Urfi’s fashion and had called it “bad taste”.
A few days later, Kareena Kapoor said in an interview with Mirchi Plus, “I am not as gutsy as Urfi but I feel it’s extremely brave and extremely gutsy. Fashion is all about expression and freedom of speech. I think that the confidence with which she pulls it off, I think she looks really cool and amazing.”
She added, “The fact that she does exactly as she wants, that’s what fashion is all about – when you are comfortable in your own skin and do exactly as you, please. I just love the confidence. I am a confident girl so I am all for confidence. I just love her confidence and the way she walks. Hats off.”
Later, Urfi reacted to Kareena praising her and tweeted, “Whatttttttt, Kareena just said she likes me??? I’m ded ! Bye. I can’t, wow, is this seriously happening?"
Urfi Javed, who was last seen in the MTV dating reality show ‘Splitsvilla 14’, earned a name for herself after appearing in daily soaps like ‘Meri Durga’, ‘Phero Ki Hera Pheri’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain’ among several others.
The ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ fame has reportedly been approached for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’. However, there is no confirmation regarding her participation in the show so far.
