After 'Drive To Survive', Netflix Comes Up With Another Sports Treat, This Time For Tennis Fans!
The first five episodes of a new sports series ‘Break Point’ will release on Netflix on January 13.
'Formula 1: Drive to Survive' is viewed as one of the best sports docuseries ever to come out and now wonder it has a huge fan base. It looks like Netflix wants more of sports docuseries, and the producers of 'Drive To Survive' have now come up with another treat – this time for the tennis fans! A series called 'Break Point' will hit the streaming platform on January 13 and it will focus on the changing guard and how much blood and sweat goes into the making of top tennis stars.
Netflix released the title and launch date of the series on Wednesday. A 30-second teaser was also released on YouTube.
The series will take a look at some of the underdog tennis stars and it will follow them all around the globe, competing in Grand Slams and tournaments in the ATP and WTA tours.
‘Break Point’ will span across 10 episodes and the first five episodes will come out on January 13 on Netflix while episodes 6-10, will be released in June 2023.
In the entire series, the focus will be on the ups and downs of the following players at different points throughout the 2022 season: Felix Auger-Aliassime, Paula Badosa, Matteo Berrettini, Taylor Fritz, Ons Jabeur, Nick Kyrgios, Casper Ruud, Aryna Sabalenka, Maria Sakkari and Ajla Tomljanovic.
As per information available on the official website of Netflix, the series will also feature Thanasi Kokkinakis, Sloane Stephens, Iga Swiatek, Frances Tiafoe, and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
