‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ second runner-up Manisha Rani paid a visit to Abhishek Malhan, who is in hospital for dengue treatment.
‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, hosted by Salman Khan, came to an end on August 14 after a successful two-month run. YouTuber Elvish Yadav took home the winner’s trophy and Rs 25 lakh cash prize. Abhishek Malhan became the first runner-up of the show and the much-talked-about contestant Manisha Rani became the second runner-up of ‘BB OTT 2’. While Manisha Rani did not win the show, she went on to become one of the most popular contestants, gaining a massive fan following. Her flirty banter, first with Jad Hadid and then with Evlish Yadav brought smiles to viewers’ faces.
People also loved her friendship with Abhishek Malhan. Recently, Manisha Rani proved to be a true friend to Abhishek Malhan even outside the ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ house. Manisha Rani paid Abhishek Malhan a visit at a hospital, where he is receiving treatment for dengue.
The two shared a warm hug and chatted for a bit, as captured in a video shared by Manisha Rani on her Instagram Stories, which has now gone viral on Twitter.

The video shows Manisha Rani smiling and laughing as she enters the hospital room. Abhishek Malhan gets a warm hug from his ‘BB OTT 2’ friend. While Abhishek Malhan was in a patient's robe, Manisha Rani wore a mauvish-pink suit with a colourful dupatta.
In the video, she could be seen tending to his face and hair and the two chatted.
Along with the video on her IG Stories, Manisha Rani wrote, “Hero of Bigg Boss OTT season 2. Oyy. Tune bhale hi trophy nahi jeeta ho, lekin tune poore India ka dil jeeta hai. Aur mere liye tu humesha se hi winner raha hai."
She added, “Aur Bigg Boss ne mujhe bahut kuch dia. Uss mein se khaas tere jaisa dost mila mujhe. Agar is season mein tu nahi hota toh meri journey bahut mushkil hoti shayad. Aur umeed hai humari dosti humesha aise hi rahegi.”
As per several reports, Abhishek Malhan has been unwell for over a week. He could not fully participate in the grand finale of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ and was rushed to the hospital immediately after the show ended. From the hospital, he shared a message for his fans, thanking them for their support.

Manisha Rani also congratulated Elvish Yadav on her IG Stories with a heartfelt message. She also posted a video showcasing her friendship with ‘BB OTT 2’ wild card contestant, Aashika Bhatia, calling her “Jaan”.
Talking about Elvish Yadav, he scripted history as he became the first wildcard contestant to win any ‘Bigg Boss’ season. Besides Elvish, Abhishek and Manisha, the other contestants in the top 5 were Bebika Dhurve, and Pooja Bhatt.
The first season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ was hosted by filmmaker-producer Karan Johar. Divya Agarwal emerged as the winner of the first season of the reality show.
