Bigg Boss OTT 2: Jiya Shankar Gets Emotional, Tells Jad Hadid That She "Doesn't Have A Father"
Bigg Boss OTT 2: This week witnessed an emotional moment as Jiya Shankar confessed the truth behind her name to Jad Hadid, after the two had a tiff in the show.
'Bigg Boss OTT 2' has been seeing plenty of fights off late, and all contestants have been trying their best to race ahead in the game. Earlier this week, Elvish Yadav and Aashika Bhatia also entered the house as wildcard contestants and it needs to be seen how it influences the game. This week also witnessed an emotional moment as Jiya Shankar confessed the truth behind her name to Jad Hadid, after the two had a tiff in the show. Talking to Jad Hadid, Jiya Shankar said that her last name does not belong to her father, and she got a little emotional.
"Jiya Shankar, Shankar is not my father's name. It is not my last name. Shankar is not my real name. I don't use my father's name, I don't use his last name. I am saying this in front of zillion people. So that is how much you meant to me," Jiya Shankar told Jad Hadid.
"I don't have a father and I know what it means. I never called someone father and I have never given that position to anyone in my life and I gave it to you. You have a daughter and I don't have a father, that's the difference. You would never leave your daughter's hand,” she added.
For the unversed, Jiya Shankar made this revelation after Jad Hadid accused her of betraying him during the captaincy task.
After revealing this to Jad Hadid, Jiya Shankar walked away and started crying under the blanket. As Jad came up to him to console her, the two hugged each other.
“I never want to lose you, you are family to me,” Jiya told him.
The tiff between Jad Hadid and Jiya Shankar started during a task when the latter removed the former from the captaincy race, over Avinash Sachdev.
Bebika Dhurve, Manisha Rani, Falaq Naaz, Pooja Bhatt, and Avinash Sachdev are nominated for this week, while Jad, Jiya Shankar and Abhishek Malhan are safe for now.
'Bigg Boss OTT 2' is currently airing on JioCinema and the Weekend Ka Vaar episode airs on Saturday and Sunday.
