‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, hosted by megastar Salman Khan, ran successfully for two months before marking a thrilling end to a season packed with lots of drama and entertainment. Famous YouTuber Elvish Yadav took home the winner’s trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. The grand finale of the show was held on August 14 and witnessed several exciting performances. While Elvish Yadav entered the show mid-way as a wild card contestant, his immense popularity helped him clinch the trophy by defeating Abhishek Malhan, who became the first runner-up.

His journey on the show was packed with entertainment as he cracked jokes and entertained everyone with his witty one-liners. Now that he has won the reality show, many fans are hoping to see him in ‘Bigg Boss 17’.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Elvish Yadav was asked about participating in ‘Bigg Boss 17’. Talking about it, he said, “Bigg Boss 17… Zarur dekhunga main bahar se. Honestly, I haven’t thought about it yet as I just stepped out. Also, I am on a break now and want to spend some time with my family. I spent too much time away from them and want to overcome that phase first.”

On the show, Elvish Yadav was often seen mentioning his lady love waiting outside for him, and thus kept his distance from other girls.

Asked to give details about the mystery girl, he said, “Aisi koi ladki nahi hai bahar. Main woh Manisha ko dur rakhne ke liye bolta tha.”

Elvish Yadav scripted history as he became the first wildcard contestant to win any ‘Bigg Boss’ season. While Elvish Yadav won ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’, Abhishek Malhan and Manisha Rani were declared the first and second runner-up, respectively. Bebika Dhurve and Pooja Bhatt were also in the top five.

The other contestants in the show included Puneet Superstar, Aaliya Siddiqui, Palak Purswani, Avinash Sachdev, Akanksha Puri, Jiya Shankar, Falaq Naaz, Cyrus Broacha, Jad Hadid and Aashika Bhatia.

The first season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ was hosted by filmmaker-producer Karan Johar. Divya Agarwal emerged as the winner of the first season of the reality show.
