'Monster The Jeffrey Dahmer Story', which stars Evan Peters as the titular serial killer, had also managed to stay No.1 on Netflix's weekly top 10 list for three weeks.
The show which dethroned it from the top spot was another Ryan Murphy-helmed limited-series called 'The Watcher'.
'Monster The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' was initially planned to be a limited series, but looking at its raging success earlier this year, the show was renewed for two more seasons by Netflix.
As per Variety, the upcoming seasons of 'Monster The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' will follow "monstrous figures who have impacted society".
The first season of the series told the story of the life of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and how he went on to become one of the most notorious serial killers in the US. The first season of 'Monster The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' had a total of 10 episodes, with duration running from 45-63 minutes.
Other main characters of the show include Dahmer's father Lionel (Richard Jenkins), stepmother Shari (Molly Ringwald), neighbor Glenda (Niecy Nash), and grandmother Catherine (Michael Learned).
