HBO content will leave Disney+ Hotstar after March 31, so here is a list of shows you need to see.

For many years, Disney+ Hotstar has been the home for HBO content and fans have enjoyed shows like 'Game of Thrones', 'House of Dragon', 'Succession', 'The Last of Us' and 'Barry' on Hotstar. However, there is sad news for all of us, who love binge watching these shows, HBO content is all set to leave Disney+ Hotstar after March 31

This development was confirmed by Disney+ Hotstar last week when a user wanted to know when would Season 2 of 'Perry Mason' arrive on the platform. In response, the Disney+ Hotstar team replied: "Starting 31st March, HBO content will be unavailable on Disney+ Hotstar. You can continue enjoying Disney+ Hotstar’s vast library of content spanning over 100,000 hours of TV Shows and Movies in 10 languages and coverage of major global sporting events."

It is not known where the HBO shows will premiere next, but here is the list of shows you can watch on Disney+ Hotstar before they leave the platform:

Succession

The show will tells the story of Roys' family and how the children want to succeed their father Logan Roy after he postpones his plans of retiring. As he refuses to retire, it sets off a brutal and fierce powerplay within the family. Three seasons of the show have already aired, and the final one will air its first episode on March 27 in India. Catch all the seasons before they leave the platform.

Mare of Easttown

This Kate Winslet-starrer is a who dunnit of epic proportions and if you are a sucker for investigative drama, this one will for sure, leave you spellbound with all the twists and turns. This is a mini-series, and you can binge watch this over the weekend itself.

Chernobyl

This series is an outstanding limited-series, and it is based on one of the worst nuclear disasters in Soviet Russia. The five-episode series can be binge watched over the weekend, and you would not regret this watch at all.

House of Dragon

This one is strictly for Game of Thrones fans. Game of Thrones has eight seasons, so it is not fair to expect one to watch all seasons before March 31. However, if you watched the entire show, and you are yet to catch up on House of Dragon, it is about time you do! The series is set about 100 years after the Seven Kingdoms are united by the Targaryen Conquest, nearly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. The season has 10 episodes, and you would not regret spending your time on this show.

The Last of Us

The show aired its finale earlier this week! Just three months have passed this year, but it is fair to say, 'The Last Of Us' will remain as the finest show to air this year. Starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in lead roles, the show is an American post-apocalyptic drama based on the 2013 video game developed by Naughty Dog. The series is set in 2023, twenty years into a pandemic caused by a mass fungal infection, which forces its hosts to transform into zombie-like creatures and collapses society. Just nine episodes are there in the first season, and it is about time, you catch up with this series.
