Producer Ekta Kapoor has landed in trouble once again, and this time, the reason is the poster of Alt Balaji show 'Gandi Baat'. The poster of the sixth season of the show finds itself in the eye of a storm with several netizens asking for a ban on the show. In the latest entertainment news, a new poster of the show was posted on social media, and several users felt that it was mocking Goddess Lakshmi. The poster features a woman in an Indian attire with a lotus near her waist. The poster also has two peacocks on the side. Several users pointed out that the poster is similar to Goddess Lakshmi, who is seated on a lotus.

This new poster also resulted in a debate on social media regarding artistic representation and portrayal of religious symbols in the media.

One user on Twitter said that Ekta Kapoor's serials should be "banned" as they are "spoiling society."

Here are some of the reactions to the poster:

'Gandi Baat' which airs on Alt Balaji, has been directed by Sachin Mohite.

Every episode has a rural Indian narrative with an erotic theme at the centre.

Each episode is 42-45 minutes long, and on previous occasions as well, the show has been surrounded by controversy for its explicit content.
