2022 is about to come to an end, and there is a lot of content still to watch! The biggest of shows streamed on your favourite platforms this year, some of them being -- 'The House Of The Dragon', 'Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power', 'White Lotus' Season 2, 'Stranger Things Season 4', 'Ms Marvel', 'Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story'. However, these were the bigger shows that came to forefront this year but there are some web series that emerged as sleeper hits and no one expected them to be this good when the first trailer dropped.

Since New Year's Day is coming, we have your weekend plans sorted, and we are listing out five shows that you can binge watch and these are some of the biggest sleeper hits of the year.

Here is the list:

1. 'Moon Knight'

'Moon Knight' is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and the show has Oscar Isaac playing the lead role. The show tells the story of a man suffering from dissociative identity disorder. The show is the sixth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it follows Marc Spector and Steven Grant, two alters of a man with dissociative identity disorder (DID), and how they are drawn into a mystery involving Egyptian gods. The series comprises of six episodes and you can binge watch it in one sitting.

2. 'The Sandman'

The show is streaming on Netflix and it is a fantasy drama series based on the 1989-1996 comic book which goes by the same name. The show tells the story of Dream/Morpheus, the titular Sandman. The show is a 10-episode series, and looking at how the show got popular, the makers had to drop an additional episode after the first 10 episodes were released. The show has already been renewed for the second season.

3. 'The Bear'

The eight-episode series is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar and if you love different cuisines, you will definitely love this show! The series tells the story of a young chef coming from the world of fine dining, and how he comes back to his hometown of Chicago to run his family's Italian beef sandwich shop after the demise of his older brother. The show will hit you right in the feels with the perfect blend of comedy, drama and high emotional quotient.

4. 'Andor'

This particular series is a science-fiction action-adventure show and it is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. It is the fourth live-action series in the 'Star Wars' franchise, and it also serves as a prequel to both spin-off films 'Rogue One' and the original Star Wars film which had come out in 1977. The series tells the story of spy-rebel Cassian Andor during the five years that lead to the events of the two aforementioned films. The titular character is played by a brilliant Diego Luna. 

5. 'Severance'

The show is currently streaming on Apple TV+ and it is a science-fiction psychological thriller. The show tells the story of an employee of Lumon Industries who agrees to a "severance" program in which his non-work memories are separated from his work memories. The nine-episode series has been widely appreciated by audiences and critics and hence it is no surprise, that the show was nominated in 14 categories at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards.
