Gone are the days when Australian opening batter David Warner used to be a brash and in-your-face type of cricketer. Ever since being involved in Sandpaper Gate, where he was banned for one year from the sport for ball tampering, the left-handed batter has managed to do a 360 degree turn and completely change his persona. Warner is now a lovable personality, and he has managed to win over fans, especially in India. You ask how? The answer is simple! By featuring in numerous Instagram reels and videos, where he shows off his funny side while dancing or singing to famous Indian songs. He has featured in various hilarious reels, of famous movie stars such as Allu Arjun, Prabhas and many more.

So hence it is no surprise, that Netflix India decided to pull Warner's leg and taking to Twitter, the streaming giant wrote: "If David Warner retires from cricket, it's only apt that he begins starring in Telugu movies."

This hilarious tweet prompted Warner to give a reaction and the cricketer could not stop laughing.

Recently, Warner was in the news for his poor form in the Test format.

However, the left-handed batter once again showed that he is a true fighter, as he registered a double century against South Africa in the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

This helped Australia register a thumping win and hence they took a 2-0 unassailable lead in the three-match series, further consolidating their spot at the top of World Test Championship (WTC) standings.

After Test series against South Africa, Australia will square off against India in a four-match series, which will begin on February 9 at VCA Stadium in Nagpur.
