“I Felt Manipulated”: Venezuelan Influencer Claims She Slept With Football Star Cristiano Ronaldo

Portugal and Al-Nassr FC star Cristiano Ronaldo has finally reacted to the claims made by married Venezuelan influencer who had said that she had sex with the footballer last year. The blogger named Georgilaya had earlier claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo cheated on his girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez, in a hotel room on March 25 last year, reported The Daily Mail. The blogger then claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo sent her a text and then invited her to his hotel room. The entire chain of events unfolded after she posed for selfies with former Manchester United star and his Portuguese teammates, reported The Sun.
"When I read the message, I thought that if I went there we would just talk, get to know each other better, maybe I could get some more photos. I didn't think that, in that situation, there would be sex. The fact is, it happened. It was consented on my part, but despite that I felt manipulated, by the fame and power of Cristiano Ronaldo," The Daily Mail quoted the blogger as saying.
Now, the footballer's spokesperson has reacted to the claims, and he has termed it as "false and defamatory".
“This is completely false and defamatory," The Sun quoted Ronaldo's spokesperson as saying.
For the unversed, Cristiano Ronaldo has been with his long-time girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez for more than six years.
Previously, Ronaldo was accused of raping a US citizen named Kathryn Mayorga in 2009 and he was also accused of paying her USD 3,75,000 in hush money.
However, the case was thrown out last year who had said that Mayorga's lawyer had shown 'bad faith' and relied on leaked documents, reported The Daily Mail.
