Twitter Down For Many Users Around The World, Netizens Left Fuming
Uber-popular app Twitter crashed on Wednesday afternoon and as a result, several users are unable to use the website for now.
Uber-popular app Twitter crashed on Wednesday afternoon and as a result, several users are unable to use the website for now. As per Down Detector, the issues started at 10:17 GMT (3:47 PM IST) and as a result, users are not able to access the Twitter feed. While the Twitter interface was still working and users could still post and see trending tweets but the main news feed first showed an error then started showing a message: “Welcome to Twitter!”. The reason for this outage is not known as yet. The Daily Mail reported that almost 3,000 issues have now been logged on Down Detector.
Of all those reported issues, 62 per cent have said they are having problems with the app, 34 per cent with the website and four per cent with the server connection, reported Daily Mail.
It is important to mention that when we tried to access Twitter, we were able to tweet, but were unable to view feed and the tweets from different handles were not loading.
