2024 is a dream year for cinephiles! Here is the list of the most-awaited films and shows this year.

2023 was a solid year when it came to Indian content. After a dismal two to three years, 2023 brought back happy days for the Indian film industry. The year started with a bang as Shah Rukh Khan's comeback to the big screen after a gap of more than four years, turned out to be a blockbuster return, and the Siddharth Anand-directorial which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham went on to collect more than Rs 500 crore in India. Big tent-pole films like 'Jawan', 'Gadar 2', 'Salaar', 'Leo', 'Jailer', 'Tiger 3', and 'Animal', also tasted massive success at the box office.

The success was not limited to big-scale action movies as several mid-budget films like 'The Kerala Story', 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar', 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke', 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', 'OMG 2', 'Dream Girl 2', 'Fukrey 3', 'Kaathal The Core', 'Dunki', '12th Fail, and 'Sam Bahadur' also tasted success at the box office.

The success was not limited to theatrical releases only. The OTT platforms also saw a wide range of content last year and several shows just blew our minds. With shows like 'Farzi', 'Dahaad', 'Kaala Paani', 'Scoop', and 'School of Lies', among others, it is fair to say that 2023 has been the best year for Hindi streaming shows, and there are several series that will keep you hooked, and you won't be able to take your eye off the screen.
