Aamir Khan was taken aback when he was asked about working with Kiran Rao post their divorce, and the perfect response to it.
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao are collaborating for the latter's directorial 'Laapata Ladies', which is slated to release in cinemas on March 1, 2024. For the unversed, the duo continues to remain a cordial relationship even after their divorce. In the latest Bollywood entertainment news, a video is going insanely viral on social media, in which Aamir Khan was taken aback after a journalist asked him about working with Kiran Rao even after their divorce. After an initial few seconds, Aamir Khan answered the question quite gracefully, and his reply is now winning over the internet.
"Accha, kyunki humara divorce ho gaya hai uske baad hum kyun abhi bhi, matlab yeh koi doctor ne kaha hai ki divorce ho jaye to aap log dushman ho jaate hai," said Aamir Khan.
"Mujhe lagta hai ye humari khush naseebi hai, meri khush naseebi hai ki meri zindagi mein Kiran aayi, humara safar bahut fulfilling raha aur bahut kuch banaya humne saath mein, personally aur professionally. Aur aage bhi hum saath mein he hai," he added.

"We are like a family," said Aamir Khan.
It was then that Kiran Rao chipped in, saying, "Kaam karne me hume maza bhi aata hai dono ko."
"I think Kiran has a wonderful mind, unka jo intelligence hai, aur 2-4 dafa daant deti hai mujhe toh usme bhi maza aata hai," said Aamir Khan.
For the unversed, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao had released a joint statement in 2021, announcing their separation.
“Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other. We began a planned separation some time ago, and now feel comfortable to formalise this arrangement, of living separately yet sharing our lives the way an extended family does," the statement read.
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao continue to co-parent their son Azad Rao. Kiran had also attended Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan's wedding.
For the unversed, Ira is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife Reena Dutta.
Speaking of 'Laapata Ladies, the film stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan in the lead roles.
