Here's what Aditi Rao Hydari had to say when a photographer said, "Shaadi ki bahut-bahut mubarak ma'am."

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming Hindi web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. The show directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Richa Chadha will be released on Netflix on May 1, 2024. Recently, Aditi Rao Hydari had announced her engagement with long-time partner and actor Siddharth. The announcement came amidst reports of the duo tying the knot in Telangana.

In the latest entertainment news, Aditi Rao Hydari was spotted at the airport, and it was there that a photographer congratulated her on the wedding, saying, "Shaadi ki bahut-bahut mubarak ma'am."

To this, Aditi Rao Hydari replied, "Nahi hui hai abhi."

Aditi Rao Hydari also looked quite irked by the comment passed by the paparazzi.

At the recent Galatta Golden Stars event, Siddharth had talked about people calling their engagement a "secret".

"Many people said we had done this in secret. There's a significant difference between doing something privately with family and doing something secretly. Those whom we didn't invite are calling it a secret, but it was a private ceremony for those whom we know. The next steps depend on our elders because this isn't like scheduling a shooting date that I can decide on. This is a lifetime commitment. So, when they decide, it will happen naturally," he said.

When Siddharth was asked about the duration it took for his fiancee to accept the proposal, he said, "These questions about how much time it took shouldn't be asked. The end result must be either yes or no. I'll see whether the result is pass or fail. I've never seen how many marks I'll score. I was in tension whether it would be a yes or a no and my name was in the pass list."

“The wedding date will depend on the elders (of the family) and what they say. It isn't like a shooting date I can decide on, it's a lifetime date. It will happen at the right time once they decide,” he added.

For the unversed, the duo started dating during the filming of their 2021 movie 'Maha Samudram'. Since then, they have often been papped together, however, they always remained tight-lipped about their relationship.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddharth was last seen in Tamil film 'Chithha'. The film, which was labelled as one of the best Indian movies of 2023, is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Talking about Aditi Rao Hydari, she will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hindi web series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'.
