Watch: Aditya Roy Kapur Sings ‘Sunn Raha Hai’, Arjun Kapoor Makes Cameo Appearance
In a viral video, Aditya Roy Kapur can be seen singing the uber-popular track ‘Sunn Raha Hai’ from ‘Aashiqui 2’.
Bollywood heartthrob Aditya Roy Kapur started his acting career with the 2009 film ‘London Dreams’, but it was his lead role in ‘Aashiqui 2’ that shot him to instant fame. The movie also starred Shraddha Kapoor, and their crackling chemistry is still remembered and loved by their fans. It has been over a decade since the movie released, but fans continue to adore the music the film had to offer. Tracks Like ‘Tum Hi Ho’, ‘Chahun Main Ya Naa’ and ‘Sunn Raha Hai’ still dominate playlists.
Aditya Roy Kapur recently attended a wedding. During the wedding, he was seen singing ‘Sunn Raha Hai’ in an impromptu jamming session, alongside singer and composer Ankit Tiwari. In a video surfaced online, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ankit Tiwari were spotted on the stage alongside Aparshakti Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor, Dino Morea and other guests.
Ankit Tiwari then started singing ‘Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu’ and asked Aditya to accompany him. The actor joined the jamming session and everyone watched on, in awe. As they performed, Dino Morea and Aparshakti Khurana cheered from behind. Arjun Kapoor also briefly appeared in the frame and was seen singing along with them.

For the unversed, ‘Aashiqui 2’ followed the relationship between a failed musician Rahul Jaykar (Aditya Roy Kapur) and a budding vocalist, Aarohi Keshav Shirke (Shraddha Kapoor).
Aditya and Shraddha Kapoor are soon reportedly going to come together for another project. Quoting a source, Filmfare stated, “The final details of the project are being worked out, but Aditya and Shraddha are very eager to sign the sorted line. Mohit and his creative team are working out the story and screenplay. We can expect an official announcement in the next few weeks.”
Shraddha and Aditya were last seen together in the Hindi film ‘Ok Jaanu’, directed by Shaad Ali.
Speaking about Aditya Roy Kapur, he was last seen in the web series ‘The Night Manager’. He will next appear in Anurag Basu’s ‘Metro…In Dino’.
He is also expected to star in the Hindi web series ‘Rakt Brahmand’.
