Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again', starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff, is one of the most-anticipated movies of 2024, and fans just cannot wait for the film to be released in cinemas. Earlier, it was announced that 'Singham Again' would be releasing on August 15, 2024, and clashing against Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. However, of late, there has been no update regarding the release date of 'Singham Again', and fans have been wondering whether the film will release on Independence Day or not.
In the latest entertainment news, Ajay Devgn was asked about the release date of 'Singham Again', during the trailer launch event of 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha'.
Replying to the question, Ajay Devgn said, "I am not sure (about the release date). Jo kaam chal raha tha film mein woh abhi tak khatam nahi hua hai, thodi bahut shooting bhi baaki hai. Toh hum koi jaldi mein nahi hai, kyunki jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai. Toh jab hum tayyar ho jayenge tab hum release karenge."

Speaking of 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha', the upcoming Hindi movie also stars Tabu, Jimmy Sheirgill, Saiee Manjrekar and Shantanu Maheshwari. The Neeraj Pandey-directorial is slated to be released in cinemas on July 5, 2024.
Coming back to 'Singham Again', the upcoming actioner is the third film in the Ajay Devgn-led ‘Singham’ movie franchise, which started with the 2011 film ‘Singham’ and was followed by 'Singham Returns' in 2014.
For the unversed, the two ‘Singham’ movies along with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’ (2018) and ‘Sooryavanshi’ (2021), starring Akshay Kumar, are part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.
Ranveer Singh will be reprising his role of Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba in ‘Singham Again’. Akshay Kumar is also reprising his role of Veer Sooryavanshi in the upcoming Rohit Shetty directorial.
Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Tiger Shroff are the new cast members of ‘Singham Again’ and their first looks received immense appreciation from fans. Deepika Padukone will be playing the most ‘brutal and violent’ cop in the cop universe. She is the first actress to play a cop in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.
'Singham Again' will also star Arjun Kapoor as the main antagonist.
