Akshay Kumar Announces 'Housefull 5', Movie To Release On Diwali 2024
Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh are reuniting for 'Housefull 5'.
Some good news for Akshay Kumar fans! The actor on Friday confirmed that 'Housefull 5' is in the works and the new Hindi movie would be releasing in theatres on Diwali 2024. With this development, 'Housefull' series has become the first-ever franchise in Indian cinema to have 5 installments. Sharing the development, Akshay Kumar shared a poster of the movie announcing the release date. "Get ready for FIVE times the madness! Bringing to y'all #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull5. Directed by @Tarunmansukhani. See you in cinemas on Diwali 2024," Akshay Kumar tweeted.

Along with Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh would also be a part of 'Housefull 5', and the rest of the cast will be announced later.
The new Hindi movie will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala while it will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani.
Talking about Akshay Kumar, the actor will next be seen in 'OMG 2' which also stars Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi. The new Hindi movie would be releasing in the theatres on August 11, 2023. 'OMG 2' will now clash with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's 'Gadar 2' and Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal.
Both 'Gadar 2' and 'Animal' as of now, are slated to release in the theatres on August 11, 2023. Now, it needs to be seen whether any of these movies push their release date ahead.
Earlier, Vivek Agnihotri's 'The Vaccine War' was also slated to release on August 11, but it has now been postponed.
Akshay Kumar was last seen in 'Selfiee' alongside Emraan Hashmi, and the movie had tanked at the box office.
