Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday are currently busy promoting their upcoming movie 'Kesari Chapter 2'. The trio recently flew down to Amritsar to promote their upcoming project, which is based on the aftermath of the massacre at the Jallianwala Bagh in 1919. Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan were spotted arriving at the Mumbai airport on Monday morning to catch a flight to Amritsar. It was then that Akshay Kumar made a thoughtful gesture, which has now won over the internet.

When Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan arrived at the airport, the paparazzi constantly shouted their names for getting the duo clicked. Akshay Kumar then approached the security official at the airport to ask for his permission to get clicked by the paparazzi. R Madhavan also waited for the official’s permission. The official seemed hesitant at first but eventually he gave his go ahead and the duo then posed for the cameras.

Akshay was seen dressed in a casual grey ensemble, while R Madhavan looked dapper in a white kurta-pyjama.

Soon after the video surfaced online, several social media users reacted to it. “They both are really very well-mannered and true gentlemen. That’s why they’re my favourites in the industry,” commented one user.

Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Monday. Khiladi Kumar shared the picture on Instagram with the caption, "Sar jukhaya. Sukoon paya."

Speaking of 'Kesari Chapter 2', the historical drama has been directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The upcoming Hindi film is a courtroom drama, which revisits the pain and trauma attached to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. In the film, Akshay Kumar is playing the role of lawyer and statesman C Sankaran Nair.

The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre happened on April 13, 1919. General REH Dyer ordered the Gurkha and Sikh infantry regiments to shoot after a large crowd gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Punjab's Amritsar to protest against the Rowlatt Act.

For the unversed, 'Kesari Chapter 2' will release in theatres on April 18. It has been produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films.

The first part of 'Kesari' was released in 2019. The film followed the events leading to the Battle of Saragarhi. Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starred in the 2019 movie.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was last seen in 'Sky Force', alongside Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan and Nimrit Kaur. The movie did a business of more than Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office.

On the other hand, R Madhavan was recently seen in the Netflix film 'Test', alongside Nayanthara and Siddharth.
